Foundation Program In Hospitality

Program designed for students whose main aim is to develop English communication skills, discover a second foreign language, and experience life abroad including supervised and very focused field trips, while discovering and familiarizing with some aspects of hospitality business. It implies taking some hospitality classes to feel programs contents and experience what it takes to join hospitality as a career of choice. At the end of the Semester, depending on age and maturity level, students may already express their commitment to join SHML full time programs.

Course Program:

Academic Semester 1: Western culture, Introduction to Tourism (theory and practical), Food Service Operations: FB outlets service, Wine and Bar, Food Production Theory; Housekeeping Operations, Hospitality English, Basic German or French, EDP applications.

Fees:

Semester Fees – CHF 14’500.- including accommodation in dormitory, full board, health insurance and books & materials on loan but excluding travel and visa costs.
