English is the official teaching and learning language at SHML. English over the past 50 years has become the dominant language spoken throughout the World and has become the most used language after national mother tongues for communication. It has also become more prevalent since the introduction computers, software and the internet. English represents nowaday a global means of communication within primary, secondary, tertiary and quaternary industries, including, among others, the fields of business, finance, science, tourism and hospitality. At SHML, we cannot but accepting students that have an english proficiency which is measured in terms of IELTS or TOEFL levels, irrespective of students' origin, accent or dialect, and the same applies for teachers and professors delivering SHML programs.

We offer an intensive 2 month english preparatory course, not limited to classroom teaching but including conversation, self studies with Rosetta software, excursions etc. Daily direct contact with English teachers during breakfast, lunch and dinner. The sum is in excess of 8 hours/day English teaching.
