Program allowing students to progress toward the Bachelor degree at a normal pace, with one extra year to master the entire range of hospitality applications, including one additional internship. On conclusion of this professional management course, graduates are ready to enter the industry with confidence. Upon graduating at Lenk, students can either continue with their studies for the top up Bachelor degree or return to do the top up BA at a later date when they have had real time industry management experience.

Progression and Accreditation: This course is part of the managed progression of SHML courses towards the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) at the University of Gloucestershire, Cheltenham (UK), the Bachelor of Business Administration at Dhurakij Pundit University or Sripatum University in Bangkok.
Six semesters, three in College (Semesters 1, & 3, 5) and three internships Semesters (2, 4, and 6) either in Switzerland, within reputed chain hotels, or with partner International Hotel companies:
Academic Semester 1: Food Service Operations: FB outlets service, Banqueting Operations, Wine and Bar, F&B Human Resources, F&B Sales and Marketing, F&B Control, Food Production Theory and Practical, Stewarding, Housekeeping Operation, Business English, Basic German, Computer Office applications.
Internship Semester 2: This first internship (five to seven months) is planned to suit individual needs, commonly within F&B operations (restaurants, bars, fast food, banqueting or production).
Academic Semester 3: F&B Mgmt, Events Mgmt, Events Sales and Marketing, Managerial Accounting (Level 2), Supervision, Rooms Division Mgmt (Level 2), Human Resource Mgmt (Level 2), Sales & Marketing (Level 1), Engineering/Maintenance/Energy, Hotel Business English, German Language 2, Information Technology.
Internship Semester 4: This second internship (five to seven months) is also planned to suit students’ wished/needs; recommended within F&B2 or Front Office.
Academic Semester 5: Managerial Accounting2 (applications), Organization Behavior, Contractual laws, Marketing Mgmt /branding, Hotel Planning and Layout, Environmental Mgmt, Research Methods, Prof. Hosp. Business Enterprise (Capstone), Engineering/Maintenance/Energy Mgmt, Prof. Hosp. Business Enterprises, Research Methods, Hotel Business English, German3; Information technology.
Internship Semester 6: This third internship (five to seven months) is planned to take place within the Rooms Division environment, including Housekeeping and Front Office front-of-the-house operations.
Semester 1 Fees – CHF 29’725.-

Semester 5 Fees – CHF 29’725.- including accommodation in twin sharing double room, full board, health insurance and books & materials but excluding travel and visa costs.
Potential monthly earnings during internship: CHF 2’150.- gross per month (in Switzerland only).
